Friday, September 19
3-5PM | Moonshine Tales – Savor Moonshine cocktails and flights, learn about the rich history of the moonshine trade, which was active on Primland’s land, and learn from our homegrown storytellers about a central part of Appalachian culture while enjoying live Bluegrass music.
6-10PM | Kids Night at the Lodge – Designed for kids aged 3 and older, featuring engaging crafts and outdoor adventures.
8PM | Maren Morris Concert – Immerse yourself in nature and the melodies of Grammy Award-winning artist Maren Morris in an intimate live performance under the stars.
10-11PM | Nightcap at the Laurel Bar – Try a bourbon cocktail from Laurel Bar’s menu of Old Fashioneds and roast s’mores on the North Terrace to end a magical Blue Ridge evening.
Saturday, September 20
9AM | Fly Fishing – Venture onto the Dan River with expert guides from our Orvis-endorsed Primland Sporting Club for a morning of thrilling fly fishing.
10:30AM | Nature Walk & Talk – Join Primland’s Naturalist for a guided hike along the Old Appalachian Trail that runs through the property.
2:30PM | Adrenaline Afternoon: RTV or Aerial Ropes Course – Leave the beaten track with an exhilarating rugged-terrain guided ride across Primland’s 12,000 private acres, or embark on your own aerial adventure amongst Primland’s treetops.
6-8PM | Stables Saloon – Climb the stairs to the secluded second floor of Primland’s former horse stables and discover traditional Southern food and live music at its best.
8:30 or 9:30PM | Stargazing – Marvel at the stars above from Primland’s fully equipped observatory as the resort’s astronomers guide you through the constellations.
Sunday, September 21
10AM | Breakfast at Leatherflower – End your time with us by delighting in a traditional Southern grits bowl at Leatherflower while taking in the sweeping views of the rolling fairways of the Highland Course before departure.
