ABOUT THE MACALLAN
Fondée en 1824, la distillerie The Macallan est réputée dans le monde entier pour ses whiskies single malt exceptionnels. Leur qualité exceptionnelle et leur caractère distinctif témoignent de l'excellence sans compromis recherchée par The Macallan depuis sa création par Alexander Reid, sur un plateau surplombant la rivière Spey, dans le nord-est de l'Écosse.
En 2018, The Macallan a ouvert un nouveau chapitre de son histoire avec le lancement de sa distillerie primée dans le Speyside. Conçu par des architectes de renommée internationale dans un souci de durabilité, le bâtiment s'inspire des anciennes collines écossaises environnantes. Il se trouve à proximité d'Easter Elchies House, le manoir des Highlands construit en 1700 qui est le berceau spirituel de The Macallan et reste le cœur du magnifique domaine de 485 acres de The Macallan.
2024 marque le 200e anniversaire de The Macallan, qui débutera avec le dévoilement d'un logo « 200 Years Young » et d'une identité évoluée qui rend hommage au passé illustre de la marque et célèbre son avenir.
